I'm a New Zealand-born wildlife, portrait, and fantasy watercolor artist and passionate conservationist. I'm a signature member of Artists For Conservation and have just returned to my adopted city of New York after spending seven years in Kenya, where I visited wildlife conservancies and went on many safaris, sketching and photographing the subjects of my growing wildlife watercolors collection. I recently won the Artists for Conservation's Pollyanna Pickering award for best depiction of an endangered species for my 22"x 30" watercolor of "Tim", one of the last and largest of the giant tuskers (African elephants).
